Preserving the historic Hudson Orphan Asylum (ca 1846)

  
  

A few short years ago, the Hudson Orphan Asylum was slated for demolition by the City of Hudson in New York.  In stepped T. Eric Galloway, the CEO of Galvan Partners and Lantern Group.  All hope was not lost.

Olde Mohawk was contracted to replace the cornice in kind and replace the roofing materials to prevent further internal damage.

The timber framed roof structure was rotted and unsalvageable.

Roofing was removed, emergancy repairs to the masonry performed, and a new roof installed.
